Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 3.7%. ↑ The participation rate increased 0.3 points to 67.0%. ↑ Monthly hours worked increased to 1,939 million hours. ↑
China: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released November 15, the unemployment rate remained steady at 5.0%. ↔
USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released November 3, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 3.9% ↑
UK: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released November 14, the unemployment rate remained steady at 4.2%. ↔
New Zealand: Statistics New Zealand, released October 31, the unemployment rate increased 0.3 points in the third quarter to 3.9%. ↑
Germany: Statistics Germany, released November 2, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 5.8%. ↑
France: Insee France, released November 15, the unemployment rate increased 0.2 points in the third quarter to 7.4%. ↑
Spain: Instituto Nacional de Estadistica, released October 26, unemployment rate increased 0.24 points in the third quarter to 11.84%. ↑
Monthly Consumer Price Index Indicator: released October 25, the annual movement for the monthly CPI indicator excluding volatile items and holiday travel rose 5.5% in September, in line with the rise of 5.5% in August.
Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence: released November 14, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence plunges 3.5pts to 74.3 - after the RBA raises interest rates to 12-year high of 4.35%. ↓

ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads released November 6, Job Ads fell 3.0% m/m in October following a downward revision in September to -0.5% m/m from -0.1% m/m. In trend terms, the series was down 1.2%m/m. ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads has fallen 11.2% from the September 2022 peak but remains 44.9% higher than pre-COVID levels. ↓
Job Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released September 28, total job vacancies for the August 2023 quarter were 390,400, a decrease of 8.9% from May 2023. ↓
