Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 3.8% ↑ The participation rate decreased to 66.6%. ↓ Monthly hours worked increased to 1,956 million hours. ↑
China: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released April 16, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points to 5.2%. ↓
USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released April 5, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points to 3.8% ↓
UK: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released April 16, the unemployment rate increased 0.3 points to 4.2%. ↑
New Zealand: Statistics New Zealand, released February 6, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points in the fourth quarter to 4.0%. ↑
Germany: Statistics Germany, released March 28, the unemployment rate remained steady at 5.9% ↔
France: Insee France, released February 13, the unemployment rate remained steady in the fourth quarter at 7.5% ↔
Spain: Instituto Nacional de Estadistica, released January 26, unemployment rate decreased 0.8 points in the fourth quarter to 11.76%. ↓
Monthly Consumer Price Index Indicator: released March 27, the annual movement for the monthly CPI indicator excluding volatile items and holiday travel rose 3.9% in February, down from the rise of 4.1% in January. ↓
Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence: released April 16, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence up 1.6 points to 83.5 - the highest for over two months since early February.

ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads released April 2, ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads fell 1.0% m/m in March following an upward revision in February to -2.1% m/m from -2.8% m/m. In trend terms the series was down 0.4% m/m. Despite the annual fall of 10.6%, ANZ-Indeed Job Ads is still 32.1% higher than pre-pandemic (that is, 2019 average) levels. ↓
Job Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released March 28, total job vacancies for the February 2024 quarter were 363,800 a decrease of 6.1% from November 2023. ↓
