Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 4.1%↑ The participation rate increased 0.1 points to 66.9%. ↑ Monthly hours worked increased to 1,967 million hours. ↑
China: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released July 15, the unemployment rate remained steady at 5.0%↔
USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released July 5, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 4.1%↑
UK: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released June 11, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 4.4% ↑
New Zealand: Statistics New Zealand,released April 30, the unemployment rate increased0.3 pointsin the first quarter to 4.3% ↑
Germany: StatisticsGermany, released June 28,the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 6.0%↑
France: Insee France, released May 17, the unemployment rate remained steady in the first quarterat 7.5%↔
Spain: Instituto Nacional de Estadistica, released April 26, unemployment rate increased 0.49 points in the first quarter to 12.29% ↑
Monthly Consumer Price Index Indicator: released June 26, the annual movement for the monthly CPI indicator excluding volatile items and holiday travel was 4.0% in May, down from 4.1% in April.↓
Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence: released July 16, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence was virtually unchanged at 78.5 in mid-July but long-term views on the economy drop to lowest so far this year. The index has now spent a record 76 straight weeks below the mark of 85↔

ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads: released July 1, ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads decline 2.2% m/m in June. In trend terms, the series was down 2.0% m/m. While ANZ-Indeed Job Ads has fallen 25.8% from its peak in June 2022, the series is still 17.8% above pre-pandemic levels.↓
Job Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released June 27, total job vacancies for the May 2024 quarter were 352,600 a decrease of 2.7% from February 2024. ↓
