Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate remained steady at 4.1%↔The participation rate increased to 67.2% ↑ Monthly hours worked increased to 1,968 million hours. ↑
China: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released September 14, the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 5.3%↑
USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released October 4, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points to 4.1%↓
UK: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released October 15, the unemployment rate decreased 0.1 points to 4.0% ↓
New Zealand: Statistics New Zealand,released August 6, the unemployment rate increased0.2 pointsin the second quarter to 4.6% ↑
Germany: StatisticsGermany, released September 27,the unemployment rate remained steady at 6.0%↔
France: Insee France, released August 9, the unemployment decreased 0.2 points in the second quarter to 7.3%↓
Spain: Instituto Nacional de Estadistica, released July 26, the unemployment rate decreased 1.02 points in the second quarter to 11.27% ↓
Monthly Consumer Price Index Indicator: released September 25, the annual movement for the monthly CPI indicator excluding volatile items and holiday travel was 3.0% in August, down from a 3.7% rise in July.↓
Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence: released October 15, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence was virtually unchanged at 83.4. Consumer Confidence has now spent a record 89 straight weeks below the mark of 85.↔

ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads: released October 8, ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads rose 1.6% m/m in September, following an upwardly revised 1.8% m/m fall in August. In trend terms, the series was down 0.3% m/m. ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads has fallen 28.1% from its peak in June 2022 but is still 14.3% above pre-pandemic levels. ↑
Job Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released September 26, total job vacancies for the August 2024 quarter were 329,900 a decrease of 5.2% from May 2024. ↓
