Australia: ABS Labour Force Figures, released today, unemployment rate remained steady at 4.1%↔The participation rate decreased to 67.1% ↓ Monthly hours worked increased to 1,972 million hours. ↑
China: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released October 18, the unemployment rate decreased 0.2 points to 5.1%↓
USA: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released November 1, the unemployment rate remained steady at 4.1%↔
UK: Bureau of Labor Statistics, released November 12, the unemployment rate increased 0.3 points to 4.3% ↑
New Zealand: Statistics New Zealand, released November 5, the unemployment rate increased0.2 points in the third quarter to 4.8% ↑
Germany: StatisticsGermany, released October 30,the unemployment rate increased 0.1 points to 6.1%↑
France: Insee France, released November 13, the unemployment increased 0.1 points in the third quarter to 7.4%↑
Spain: Instituto Nacional de Estadistica, released October 25, the unemployment rate decreased 0.06 points in the third quarter to 11.21% ↓
Monthly Consumer Price Index Indicator: released October 30, the annual movement for the monthly CPI indicator excluding volatile items and holiday travel was 2.7% in September, down from 3.0% in August.↓
Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence: released November 12, ANZ-Roy Morgan Consumer Confidence unchanged at 86.7 in mid-November after RBA leaves interest rates unchanged at 4.35%. Consumer Confidence has stayed above the mark of 85 for a fourth consecutive week - the first time this has happened since January2023. ↔

ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads: released November 4, ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads rose 0.3% m/m in October, following an upwardly revised 2.3% m/m rise in September. In trend terms, the series was up 0.5% m/m. ANZ-Indeed Australian Job Ads has fallen 27% from its peak in June 2022 but is still 16.1 per cent above pre-pandemic levels. ↑
Job Vacancy Rates: ABS Labour Force Figures, released September 26, total job vacancies for the August 2024 quarter were 329,900 a decrease of 5.2% from May 2024. ↓
DEEWR Report: Department of Employment Monthly Leading Indicator of Employment, released November 13.Following extensive consultations with stakeholders, the decision has been taken to discontinue the publication of the Indicator. This is the final one.
